Bartow-Pell Manor or How The Other Half Used To Live 1

A Mansion In The Bronx

I visited the former Bronx  home of Edgar Allan Poe last week and was somewhat taken aback by the poverty he lived in. Bartow-Pell mansion is the polar opposite of how Poe lived.
I have so many pictures I want to share that I will split this visit into two posts. The house and gardens are truly wonderful and I would urge anybody to visit.
