How The Other Half Used To Live, Bartow-Pell Mansion Gardens

The Bronx, How The Other Half Used To Live, Bartow-Pell Mansion Gardens ,Carriage House and Cemetery

I recently posted about my visit to Bartow-Pell Mansion and because I had so many images to share I split them into two posts. Entry to the grounds is free .

Walking around the grounds transports you to a different time and place. You really don’t believe you are in The Bronx or any part of NYC for that matter.

The small family cemetery hiding in the woods is an interesting addition and really more like a burial plot.
