Valentine's Food, Grand Central Market and a Surprisingly Good Camera

“The best camera is the one you have with you.” I have no idea who to attribute that quote to but it is very accurate. I have a Canon DSLR which I love and it produces great images but it is not always practical to carry it with me. I recently purchased an iphone 4S and have been  amazed at the quality of the photos.
These first shots are from a Valentine’s special we were running. A Seafood Medley with a Miso Sauce. Followed by either a Peach Mousse or a Red Velvet Mousse.

I posted in the past about Grand Central Terminal
Market and if you check that link you will see these photographs give them a run for their money.

I have been having a lot of fun using Instagram which is a free App for the Iphone which adds creative filters to images.
Overall it was so cool to be able to take good photos with something I have in my pocket anyhow.

On another note a very nice app is Mark Bittman’s How To Cook Everything App. I have always’s been a fan of his and own the book version and think this is a great value at $4.99.

I know this probably reads like an ad for Apple but is actually just my own opinions. If any readers have favorite iPhone apps please let everyone know in the comments section.
