Mike’s Miscellaneous Mondays Bronx Zoo

The Bronx Zoo is only a short bus ride from my apartment so it is one of my favorite places to go and give my camera a work out. I always stop off at New York’s Real Little Italy on Arthur Avenue to make a packed lunch.

Little Italy and Bronx Zoo

Was out and about today. Started my wanders with a walk to The Bronx's very own "Little Italy" on Arthur Avenue. Bought myself a great sandwich made with fresh mozzarella, Italian meats and roasted peppers. Brought the sandwich with me to enjoy on the rest of my trek. I went to The Bronx Zoo and gave my camera a bit of a work out.

Rosa's has great sandwiches and lot of deli goodies.

Stayed away from the pastries here but the aromas were wonderful.

Lots of good pizza joints.

Plenty of places to buy imported food stuff.
