The annual Big Apple BBQ Block Party is a great experience for food lovers. Pitmasters from around the country gather in the shadow of the Flatiron building to strut their stuff to New Yorkers hungry for some down home cooking. I did not buy a pass in advance so I only sampled one plate of some amazing pulled pork. I will have to plan better next year. I arrived at before 11 AM and the lines were already long.
