Chelsea Market, NYC

The ovens of The National Biscuit Company have been long gone from this building but for the last few years there has been a huge transformation. The Chelsea Market sits on the edge of the old meatpacking district in an neighborhood that only a few years ago would have been avoided by even hardened New Yorkers.
The building houses The Food Network and Major League Baseball's New York Offices so although I did not see anybody I am sure you could have a star siting or two if you stayed around long enough.
There is a great collection of bakeries and gourmet food stores and Bowery Kitchen Supplies even have an outpost. I love been able to see the bakeries in operation through the windows.

There are gourmet food stores, cool eateries and plenty of place to stimulate any foodie's tastebuds.

Here is a very short video of some of the food workers.
