Knock Restaurant and Bar, Philadelphia

Bar food has just improved so much over the years. There are still plenty of places where you can get bad burgers served with worse fries, fortunately Knock Bar and Restaurant on 12th Street in Philadelphia is not one of them. We had lunch here on the first day of our most recent trip to Philadelphia.
When I write about restaurants I  visit I prefer to call it a profile rather than a review as I really only write about places I enjoyed and want to share with people
We started off with sharing a very good Lobster Mac and Cheese  as an appetizer. It was everything it is supposed to be creamy, cheesy and piping hot.

The end result can be seen below. Neither of us were willing to be the one to lick the spoon.

We ordered two different sandwiches and then divided them. The Salmon BLT was very good and the other sandwich a Chicken Parmesan was in my opinion the better of the two with a very good tomato sauce and oozing melted mozzarella.

They have a more upscale dinner menu which looks very interesting. So be sure to take a look at the menus on their website and be sure to visit if you are in the area.

I did not do a lot of photography but have a lot planned over the next couple of days. But I took this shot of one of the wall murals in the neighborhood. They are quite amazing.
