From The Bookshelf’s Sausage with Fagioli all’Uccelletta.

I was very happy with the response to my “What’s On Her Menu” post. There are many of them I will be trying my hand at in the coming weeks but the first one I thought I would try my hand at was From The Bookshelf’s Sausage with Fagioli all’Uccelletta.

Now of course after stopping at the supermarket on my way home I had a minor crisis. I never bought the tomatoes to go with the dish.This being a Tuscan dish having no tomatoes is probably some kind of crime but anyhow it tasted delicious and I am certainly going to make it again with tomatoes.

I am sure the dish would have looked even nicer had I had the tomatoes but all in all I was very pleased with the outcome.
