Some of My Favorite Things From My Atlantic City Trip 1

I have been blogging very little of late and am hoping my break has recharged my batteries. I wanted to share some of the sights from my trip.

Even on vacation I am still an early riser so my favorite way to start the day was heading to Trump Plaza and partaking of their breakfast buffet. I as able to load up and be pretty good till dinner time. It may not be the healthiest of food but it was tasty and the view was excellent.

I would recommend guarding your food carefully as the seagulls have no shame. They should probably post a sign similar to the on a local pizza place has posted.

We stayed at The Tropicana which has an incredible variety of places to eat and play. The section of the hotel I enjoyed the most is called The Quarter. It is styled to recreate the architecture, food an ambiance of Old Havana in the 1940’s. You of course have to ignore the PF Changs and the Irish pub for the illusion to work but it is a very cool spot to hang out.

I was watching the maintenance guys working on The  Taj Mahal  and kept thinking of Dolly Arton’s Quote “It takes a lot of money to look this cheap.”

At the end of The Boardwalk is the brand new Revel Casino a beautiful looking ultra modern spot where I felt very uncomfortable. I think I’ll stick with kitsch.
